Handling Instructions
When properly handled, Mark’s award-winning cinnamon rolls are guaranteed to be fresh for 3 months. These rolls can be enjoyed through Thanksgiving without freezing but should be kept refrigerated. If plans include enjoying them after Thanksgiving (i.e., over Christmas and/or New Year holidays), place the pan of rolls into a gallon Ziplock freezer bag and keep frozen.
Proper defrosting and reheating will produce a product similar to fresh baked rolls. Remove the freezer bag and plastic wrap, and loosely cover with aluminum foil; cover all edges of the tin pan. Thaw on a counter for approximately three hours. Pre-heat the oven to 350 F. Leave rolls in the pan loosely covered with foil. Heat for approximately 5 minutes or until warmed through.
If using a microwave to warm already thawed rolls, be certain to remove from the tin pan. Place on a microwave safe plate, cover with wax paper and heat for 30 to 45 seconds on the lowest power setting. Power of microwave ovens vary so you might need to adjust the time and/or power setting. Follow these same instructions if going directly from freezer to microwave, but adjust time up (~90 seconds) and power setting, but don’t go beyond a medium power setting. Microwaves can make rolls dry. Error on the side of caution – less time and lower power setting.
Ice rolls after removing from oven/microwave. (Note: Be sure to thaw frosting prior to icing.)
